Dragon Boy's Dream Castle

Dragon Boy sent me a photo of the infamous “Kitty Kastle” you all were talking about below. He wanted every one to see what his cats ignored after all his hard work. Poor baby. LOL.
He said, “Just thought you girls would like to see the famous Kitty Kastle in most of its glory. In this photo, the exterior wasn't complete, but you can get the idea. The King Feline Evil Ungrateful Demon Devil Cat is testing it out here with his brother, Prince Not As Annoying. Once it was completed, I couldn't get either of them to go near the darn thing!"
Well. Maybe the cats didn’t like Dragon’s hissy attitude, and maybe they didn’t want to be seen in it until it was fully decorated and all tricked out! Would YOU, Dragon Boy, want to be seen in a house with no siding? Cats do have a superior image to uphold!

So what do you all think of this? Is it marketable? I think it’s great for cats AND kids—kids could do puppet shows with it. It would look so cool painted like a real castle with turrets and such, maybe a catnip moat or something. I think my cats would LOVE it. I bet Dragon Boy’s cats loved it too, but you know how some cats are, they don’t want to reveal their true emotions. Kind of like some MEN I know. Agree ladies?

More tomorrow on why REAL MEN love cats!

PS. To those of you who sent me photos, I will get them up as soon as I can, I promise. I'm just a bit backed up. The dogs lived through yesterday, though got a bit wet. Today it looks like rain again. I was SO tired yesterday. I came home, ate and fell asleep around 7p.m. Woke up at 4 a.m. But I think I'll be okay in a week or so--at least I hope!

It is defintely a GO! As you said Sandy, all it needs is a couple of turrets and the exterior finished. The original concept there is great but you could add various styles as well but keepping with the Castle theme. It is super and cats everywhere ill love it even if it is on thier terms. Draggon this has to be done! And by the way, which one is King feline ungrateful evil demon devil cat? They both look precious to me!

Jennifer, set your pet pictures to: community@theleafchronicle.com. Send it as an attachment, not embedded in an email. Keep the size big but no bigger than 1MB. In the subject line put "ME AND MY PET PHOTO"

To anyone who sent me pictures that haven't yet appeared here on the blog, please be patient. I will get to them as soon as I can!

Dragon,
Your yellow baby looks like my Skeeter kitty! I really do like your Kitty Kastle. I bet your babies did go in it but at night while you and mama slept! My girls sure would like that Kastle. Shame on you for putting it in the fire! I hope it was a cold winter and you were out of firewood. I bet if you had sold that thing, you could have bought lots of “real” firewood... Looks like you are really handy in the workshop. Do you by any chance make birdhouses? I am always on the look out for birdhouse to add to my collection in the yard...

Oh dragon, are you married? Where oh where can I exchange a husband for one who would create Disney World for his cats? I can't seem to get my husband to even glance at the pets when they are sleeping in an oh-so-cute position. I told my daughter the #1 thing to look for in a potential partner is one who loves animals......although somehow I have a sneaking suspicion that dragon only creates such masterpieces to appease a human female in his life so she feels obligated to return favors.......hmmmm????

I don’t want make anyone jealous with me but I just have to let you know that I was in the yard today spreading pine straw in my landscaping while wearing shorts! It was 72-degrees or warmer! I even got on the mower and mowed the winter weeds! Toads are in our yard tonight as well. Spring is around the corner here in the Deep South! But I would much rather be in Clarksville with the cold and my family…. Boo hoo…

Yep Daisy, men have one goal as the end to any an all efforts to impress a woman!

And since I know your "boss" I can vouch that what you say is true. But I really think he gives the dogs attention when no one else is around to see!

skeeter, I'm sitting in the middle of about 6 inches of snow with about 10+ more expected until tomorrow night. I must admit, it feels awesome to know I will be snowbound tomorrow and can sleep in late and lounge around all day in my pajamas....until of course I have to go out and shovel a pee-path for the dogs!

Hey Skeeter. The Yellow Tabby is Prince Not So Annoying. The other misguided cat lurking in the shadow is the infamous King Feline Ungrateful Evil Demon Devil Cat. Prince Not So Annoying is now a tall and long cat. He is one of the longer cats I ever seen. It almost seems that two people played tug a war and used him as the rope, and stretched him out. And before I get all these hate attack comments no one did such a thing. It’s just a way to demonstrate the length of the cat. Geeeee ya’ll lighten up. Wouldn’t let that happen to my snookums-pooh. Prince Not So Annoying knows when daddy is about to cut loose with his Male Aggression Disorder (M.A.D.), and stays out of the way.

I think it was springtime when the M.A.D. kicked in. After it went up in flames mama got a little cold. Yes I know if I just used it to help out some poor deprived cat it would have been a lot better. Everybody would live happily ever after. I know, cut the sarcasm.
Yes I made little mama a birdhouse. It was painted Red, White and Blue with little white stars. It made her very happy. She likes junk like that.

I’m thrilled you have nice weather down there. I’m waiting for it to warm up here. I want to plant some Tomatoes. There is nothing like home grown Tomatoes.

Daisyloo it all depends on your definition of “are”. My wife is married. When I’m over at the boss’s house in the Jacuzzi with the little girly girls, I’m not so married. Come on down here to Clarksville and we’ll see if we can’t arrange for a husband swapping. I think you’ve got me pegged better than Pam does (she thinks I’m a psycho serial killer/animal hater).

Sandy—you are right!

Just remember—it’s Male Aggression Disorder (M.A.D.) It’s not our fault. It’s a disease. It now has a name and we are not responsible for our actions. If you don’t believe me, I’ll find a judge that will convince you.

Dragon Boy,

You have skills my friend. I think you should build us ALL one of these. I will even provide you with your choice of beverage and straws while you labor away. And did I hear you mention snookums-pooh? Very impressive coming from a man. I too wish my hubby took more of a liking towards my cats. He prefers to call them things that I can't put into print.

Dragon,
Last year we had over 100 tomatoes from 4 plants! We could not eat them fast enough and I had to freeze what I did not give away! Thinking of just sticking to flowers this year… Our Skeeter was also a long cat and slim as well with a long tail...

Shannon,
I like the idea of Dragon making us ALL a Kitty Kastle for our fur babies! If you bring the libations, I will make and bring the snacks to keep his energy up while working! I will also bring the kitty treats to keep Demon Devil cat out of his way… Yeah, I caught that snookums-pooh remark also. I think we may be wearing old Dragon down a bit... Tee-hee

Shannon thanks for recognizing my greatness and skills. Wifey–Pooh mostly thinks I don’t live up to how great I actually am. Yes, I could be bribed into building Kitty Kastle, Kitty Palace, Kitty Condo, or even Kitty Dungeons.

I may have slipped on the Snookums-pooh thing, or it must have come from the other people living in my head. Just a joke girls. As I have said before, I too refer to them in a langue that’s not suitable for print.

Slow down, girls!!! Giving a man all this praise and compliments is going to do one thing--GIVE HIM THE BIG EGO!!!! That's all this blog needs: a Dragon with an attitude AND a big ego. Geez.

LOL

Dragon, just checking in here again since I
ve been back and re read what Skeeter wrote about how she bet your cats went into the Kitty Kastle at night when you didn't see them and I totally agree with that, bet they did.
You know the bird houses could be another added line to King Kitty Kastles. There is just so many many things to add and make more money on. It's hw all the other comapanies do it. Remember Baby Einstein started out with only one video by a stay at home Mom who wanted something to entertain her baby and now it is a major corporation that was just bought out by Disney World for several billion dollrs. I'm telling you all the big things started with one little idea and people we are ll full of them here, ok we're full of IT too but we are creative and this could really work!
Stacey, don't worry about Dragon's ego. We built him up but we can take him down and Dragon's need to have pretty big ego's.

Oh Pam, a Great idea! Dragon can make the Kastle Kingdom and pitch the idea to Disney! Can you hear the cha-ching?

Skeeter we don't want to pitch the idea to Disney untill it is launched and flying. When we are already rich that is the time for selling to Disney and we wait for them to approch us so we have the upper hand and can control the negotiations. And in the meantime we can have a blast developing more and more products!
