If you want to exchange contact info please read

Every so often someone will post a message asking me to send so-and-so their email address or phone number, etc.

I am not your secretary. LOL. Just teasing.

Here is what I need you to do: I don't always get back right away to continue conversations that are started and don't always see those "please send so-and-so" messages right away, if at all.

Remember a while back where I said I got high-speed satellite Internet? Well, I still didn't send out emails to everyone about my new address, as I still maintain my AOL addresses and will do so because I do Cats Are Us email from there and also the Petsspeak email, etc. Between all that and work email, I sometimes get confused and don't always save people's email addresses, etc.I plan to set up a new address book in my new email when I go on vacation end of month.

I would like to make a roster of everyone, which I mentioned in another thread. Please email me at Petsspeak@aol.com with "Pam's contact info" (or whatever your name is!)in the subject line. In the email, include your email address and any phone numbers you wouldn't mind given out to other Pet People people. I will then make a roster and email it to everyone.

How does that sound? Hope you all have a good weekend!

Happy Cinco De Mayo everyone...as I tip my margarita glass to you. Been a long week, definitely time to relax a bit. Tho the water in my pool was only 70 degrees today (freeezing for oldies like me) my kids broke it in for us. I am ready for the pool party guys and gals.

Am I the only loser on here who has a myspace? I made one in order to keep posted mostly with younger nieces, nephews, with family(as I have none here)and also to monitor my daughters. But I am now finding that more and more adults that I know have them. As we send in our contact info to Sandy, if anyone else has a myspace and wants to give that info out could we please let her know that too?

My oldest daughter brought her dog(my grand-doggie?)over today for me to petsit while she visits friends over-night. Its nice to have doggie noises in the house but it makes me miss my Harley noises even more. Every day gets easier right?

Sandy, sorry we have all put so much on you. Since you are our group leader I think we have all forgotten how much of a load you have with everything. With all you have on your plate with work, Cats Are us, and everything else you do,you still manage to be on here with all of us.I will send you all of my info to Petsspeak. I think the roster idea is great! I am happy to turn over my info to all on this blogg. I think we are all friends here and no one can object to that if they are willing to be on here otherwise they wouldn't be here in the first place. Plus if anyone doesn't want to share thier info that is still a choice.
Sandy, thank you so much for all you do and for starting this fun blogg for all of us crazy animal loving people!

I had one of the best Strawberry Margarita's in town yesterday! After all, it is strawberry season, so what better way to celebrate Cinco de Mayo! I took one year of Spanish in my Jr high days. Anyone else attempt the Spanish language???

Happy Cinco De Mayo! Wifey-poo and I started a day early. Wifey-poo and I went to Cancun’s for dinner and the best of all, a pitcher of Peach Margaritas. We are regulars at Cancun’s. They gave wifey-poo a red Cinco De Mayo T-shirt, and I got a green one. Was feeling no pain when we left.

I am now in the middle of putting up a cat barrier, not to be confused with the Cat Fence, which I’m sure is a copyrighted name. I am not using a kit of any kind for this cat containment system, but making it up as I go along. I figured I would save wifey-poo some money by doing it myself. I’ll be damned if I was going to pay that much to keep cats in the yard. I’ll just let them run away first! Wifey-poo does help out, when she has time and is not out saving the world. I’ve got to send her back to the hardware store for the rest of the materials. So, that means I probably won’t get to work on it for a couple of days. But, that’s okay. I have plenty of other things that need to be done.

Skeeter, I too love strawberry margaritas. And, I took Spanish in high school. In fact, my grades in Spanish were much better than my grades in English. Oh yeah, did I mention that my Spanish teacher was “Woo Woo”! That was one of the few classes where I would sit up front. She was hot. She always wore dresses and liked to sit in a very tall chair in the front of the room. Needless to say, it was a nice view. I often volunteered to stay after class to help out. But, it was a doomed love affair from the beginning. She was, after all, so much older than I was. She had to be at least 23!!!!!

Pam, oh sister of mine….. Yes, woe is Sandy. She would like you to believe she has so much to do. You have to remember that those Yankees are so melodramatic. In reality, the Boss carries most of the weight on his shoulders, and Sandy is the heaviest weight of all. Ha Ha Ha. Just remember, the Boss is the one that put up the cat fence for her, the Boss is the one that gives precious Scooter his medicine with peanut butter. Mean ole Sandy just shoves it down poor little Scooter’s throat. Remember that big ole list Sandy gave us of all the great things the Boss has done for her????? Poor pitiful Sandy indeed!

Pam---Corona Light???? Geez, is that the best you could do for Cinco De Mayo?? What an excellent opportunity it would have been to experience Mexican Gasoline. Someday you will have to be indoctrinated properly with the flaming concoction.

dragon, dragon, it has been way too long since your last a-- kicking hasn't it? You are just itching for a argument and a fight aren't you? You know you are stiring up some trouble with Sandy and you can't wait for it. I can feel it in the air. Ah I do admit I miss it too. We can't let it get dull in here.
As for the Corona Lite my der brother, I love it. I've been drinking lite so long I don't like the regular stuff. As for the Mexican gasoline I think I'll pass. I'll just watch you pass out on it and have a good laugh while I kill a few beasts. I don't want anything that is going to make me throw up and that gasoline sounds like it could do that pretty quick. I will stick to fillling mu tank with Beast! We will party though!
As for great places to eat, have you tired Ponch Villa? It is the best! My favorite Mexican place in town although haven't tried taht new place at Sango Village or a couple more in town.
Hey add the cat barrier to the product line for Dragon Enterprises too. What dows Guinevere to to save the world? Clue us in as to how she does that, some of us may need her services sometime.
Speaking Spanish, does ole' and Amigo count as speaking the language?

Dragon, Where have you been? In the garden hoeing? Oh, am I allowed to say that word on here??? Okay, I am confused... Guinevere saves the world and goes to the hardware store while Dragon stays home and drinks coffee with sweet candies while wearing his red thong! I am wondering where this is going? I am thinking that since women should be in the kitchen where they belong (Dragons words not mine) that Dragon should be out saving the world and shopping at the hardware store. Hummmm, makes one wonder what is going on here....

My Spanish teacher was sweet but not much in the form of eye candy. I was teachers pet so I liked her and did well that first year. Flunked out in Spanish II my sophomore year at CHS. Dropped the class after ¼ semesters! Was not teacher’s pet, what can I say….

I use to go to Cancuns to eat when in Clarksville but now go to the Mexican place by the new Wal-Mart in Sango. Poncho something or another. Good food and was there last year for Cinco de Mayo. Had a blast!

Hmmm....Pam, technically, Pancho Villa isn't "in town". Last time I checked, it was in Kentucky. We don't tend to go that far to drink margaritas. I'd hate to cross state lines. :)

Stacey, true Poncho Villa is in Oak Grove by Gate 4 but it is worth the drive I promise you! We are on post every weekend so we are right there but we have some friends who live here in town as well who think it is eveery bit worth the trip! Of course as I said Don Poncho comes close. The thing both of them make better than all the other Mexican places is Chilli Relenos and they are fab!!!!!!!!!!! I got a disapointing meal last time I went to Cancuns but that can happen anywhere actually, you never know. I guess I don't think much about how far it is to Poncho Villa since we are by it all the time.

Pam, I can’t remember if I ever have had an a** kicking. I’ve never been to Poncho Villa, but I will check it out. The product line could be endless at Dragon Enterprise if we ever get financing worked out. Guinevere belongs to a multitude of organizations, Social clubs really. All but one they spend more time eating and drinking than any thing else. So, in reality, if she were really out to save the world, as much as she is gone, the world should have been saved long ago. But, alas, as you can see, we are still in a chaotic world. But, anyway, her absence gives me plenty of time with the precious pets. Here Kitty, kitty, kitty……. What goes on when she’s not here I can never reveal. But, then again, if I get enough alcoholic beverages in me, I am liable to tell all. I have accidentally told on myself quite a few times in the past. Oh, Pam, if you see a drunk goofy dumba** guy at Poncho Villa, wearing a sombrero, just come up and tell me HI.

Skeeter, I don’t think I was in the garden “hoeing”, but I could have been in the garden plowing. I usually do my hoeing in places other than the garden…… Guinevere will go to great lengths to go anywhere to get anything I want, as long as she knows she will come home to her Dragon snuggled up in his red thong. It is wonderful motivation for her. I have my own plans to save the world. My long term goal is to be World Dictator. I guess I need to get off my butt and make it happen, huh?

With all this talk of restaurants, it makes me wonder if any of the wenches like to have Chinese?? Fortune cookies are a blast, but you must always remember to add two words to the end of every fortune. No matter what the fortune says, you must always add the words “in bed” to the very end. For example, here is my last fortune: “Take the time to do it right, otherwise you will have to take the time to do it over, in bed.” Now, doesn’t that make it much more interesting?

Dragon, in our house we have been saying the "in bed" bit with fortune cookies for as long as I can remember! I find it funny how things like that get around. It does indeed make the cookies more fun to read... anyone ever try the lottery numbers that some fortune cookies have??? I never tried them but it would make for a wonderful tale for someone to hit the big one using those numbers! We do love Chinese food in this house too!

Dragon the World Dictator... I can see the headlines now...
“World Dictator found in alley hoeing while wearing red thong”!
Have a good day ole boy….

Sandy,
Since you are so busy right now I would be glad to help you with the roster. Even though I'm at work 40 hours a week, I play on the internet all day. They have nothing for me to do right now, so most of the time I'm pretty board. If you would like the help, just forward me all the informaiton and I can put it together. Let me know.

Dragon,

I thought I was the only gutter mind who added thoses 2 lines to the end of all fortune cookies. That Always make me laugh. I like the Casablanca myself. Close enough to my house that I can get a neighbor to come pick me up after half price margarita night..which is every Thursday if anyone is ever interested in meeting there.

We are a margarita loving bunch! Damn I love you women!! (and you too, Dragon). I have reached the point in my life where I can't drink plain lime margaritas though. They give me a headache. I need peach or strawberry. Mango is the best, but I have yet to find them in Clarksville anywhere. There are a couple of places in Nashville that have them.

Shannon, I also like Casa Blanca, though it is across town for me. They have wonderful chicken wings. They are opening one in Two Rivers Center near Hooters. They may take some of my business when that one opens. We used to go to Don Ponchos' alot when they first opened, but it is further to go than Cancun's. I'm a creature of habit, and Cancun's is like an old shoe, comfortable and broken in. Know what I mean?? Or as Sweetie says--I'm predictable. Hmph.

Skeeter and Shannon O’malley, tsk tsk tsk. Here I thought I had an original idea years and years and ……well we won’t go that far back. Back when I only thought about one thing. I thought I had such an original idea while sitting at the Chinese restaurant with the cute little chicky poo reading fortunes out loud. I just threw in the “in bed” part and it was very humorous. And the best part of all---she took me up on it.

I eagerly anticipate the day the front page headline reads: “World Dictator found in alley hoeing while wearing red thong”! I only hope they get a photograph of my best side.

Adrienne, are you a state employee??? They are the only ones I know that work 40 hours a week and do nothing all day. I do know a state employee, and whenever I need some internet research done in the middle of the day, they are more than happy to take however much time to do this for me.

Shannon O’Malley, I hate to see that you are such a lightweight that you require a driver after half price margarita night. Come now, are you a woman or a wench??? Oh, I forgot, you are one of those mere females after all….

Oh, Shannon, I’m only kidding. I know you are not just a mere female. Oh, by the way, is there anyone that would like to help me put up my Dragon Enterprise Cat Barrier??? Wifey poo is pulling the old sick and pitiful routine and hasn’t even gone back to the hardware store yet! Good help is so hard to find these days. My precious pets would really enjoy the freedom to romp and play in the sun drenched daytime, but are forced to endure confinement indoors. Poor wittle babies.

Dragon, I am not a state employee. I just work for an office who thinks they need me when they don't. I spend most every day doing nothing on the internet. It has caused a few arguements between Hubby and I because I spend a lot of time shopping. What else is there to do when you have nothing to do at work. I have to find another job SOON! I hate being board!

The fortune cookie thing I've never heard! I was just at a Chinese place for lunch a few days ago and my fortune said, "A job well done." I'll leave you all to figure what kind of "job" the cookie was referring to. :)

Dragon I am sooooo offendded as I am a state employee!!!!! NOT! Just kidding.
Hey along with your sombrero be sure to wear the green shirt so I'll know for sure it's you. There are more wearing the hats there. And sorry it isn't a original idea for you dragon, we've been saing the "in bed" with the forturn cookies saying for years too. We love Chinese food! We really like the New China Buffet up here at the River Point. Like Stacey liking that Cancun is closer for her that Chinese place is closer to us but distance doesn't usually make any difference to us unless we are really too tired to go very far.
And hey everybody can I still join you guys since I don't like margaritas? I certainly can make up for not drinking them with my favorite!

Of course you can, Pam!! We don't discriminate against non margarita drinkers! I just thought it was rather amazing with all the diverse people here that so many of us have been talking about margaritas. Hmmm...you will have a driver, so maybe you can be introduced to Mexican Gasoline after all....

Pam, Pam, Pam...you know you don't even need to ask. We will find something else yummy for you to drink. I had a delicious canteloup martini at the Blackhorse a couple of weeks back. They are on the favorite list now too.

And Dragon, yes I feel for your wittle babies. Those poor defenseless sweeties are Forced to be indoors with you !! Hahaha...that was for calling me a lightweight in the margarita drinking dept. You know I am only kidding so don't be mean to me. It has been a hard day of shopping and I could use a trip to Margaritaville right now. Some of ya'll can probably relate to this but I have waited until the last minute to buy a dress for hubbys formal(secretly hoping he will say we don't have to go?) and I can't find a dern thing.I refuse to spend over $60(and yes I am cheap and proud of it!!) and the pickins are slim. I am going to see if I can fit into anything I have stashed in the attic from a few years ago. Maybe I could borrow Staceys wench attire...that could possibly make the night a little more fun?

Thanks Shannon! Don't worry I won't be dry. I'll be throwing down some Miller lites since I can't get my Beast in resturants, boo hoo. Oh well I like Miller lite too. And dragon before you start about the lightweight thing, what I don't do in strength I make up for in volumes and I did volumes! I promise you I can hang with the boys when it comes down to it. Fly Boy might br interested in the Mexican Gasoline though. I mean he's already seeing double so what the hesk, right? Ha. That might sound mean but we've been making little jokes to keep things light since he's had to deal with all of this crap. So in closing I'll say, he might be wearing his eye patch but he'll leave his parrot and sword at home so he doesn't intimidate other resturant patrons,ha.
