Pet People Party Pictures by Skeeter

Pet People Party Pictures! Wow, that was a mouthful... We sure did have fun Friday night! The 6 hour drive to Clarksville was well worth the drive and I am already looking forward to my next visit in November!

Okay first I want to get one thing straight here. We are NOT a click of Pet People Bloggers consisting of Sandy, Pam, Stacey, O’Malley, Dragon, Adrienne, Brett, Alice, Jennifer, Daisylouu and myself… These Pet People get together’s are for anyone that Blogs on the Pet People Postings. So just where was Birdie, Scrapbook mama, Malinda, Sherry, Shaun, Cynthia, Tammy and Kitten amongst other bloggers we have seen??? We are nothing more then some animal loving people that enjoy each others company chatting about animals and having a good time with an occasional get together. I have never known any of the above people before in my life until last May when Sandy or someone suggested we try to meet up while I was in town on a family visit. We all clicked and had so much fun that the parties have continued. So if anyone whom Blogs on the Pet People postings would like to join in on the fun, you are truly welcome! So don’t be shy and please join in on future fun times!

Stacey posted a pretty fair picture of the events on Friday night. Brett and Jeremy’s dogs were indeed a hand full with a house full of strange people running around with loud mouths! I am not so sure who was loudest at the end of the night, Hines or the two legged ones! Pearl has the most beautiful blue eyes of any cat I have ever seen! She was so adorable sneaking from room to room with all that noise. Never seem to phase her one bit. And Stacey was right about not making eye contact with Hines! I made that mistake one time! I did end up getting my toes licked by him and at one point; I was petting his nose while he sat in daddy’s lap! I am not sure which one was stealing the wrapped bubble gum from the coffee table but I was sure either Charlie or Lucy would be blowing bubbles out their butts the next morning because I know they must have gotten a few pieces down their throat before any one caught them stealing the smelly treats! Thanks for being the great Host you guys were to us Brett and Jeremy! It was great to meet you and by the end of the evening, I felt like I had known y'all for a long time!

In the top picture, we have Skeeter, Brett, Jeremy, Stacey and Pam and the dogs. We were all howling well, except for Pam, which is in the blue shirt! Pam was so upset at her last Posted pictures that, well, y'all take notice at how she is posing for the camera! She was determined to have a good shot taken of her. Can we say Glamore Shots???

In the second picture Brett, Jeremy, Stacey and Pam are having a hug fest! Don't they look like they are having fun? I caught these four along with some furry ones in the middle of the bed just a chatting it up at one point but could not get to the camera quick enough! so y'all will have to use your imagination for that one!

I was so glad y’all enjoyed the pecan pies I made! I am sorry they showed up with a missing piece but my dad is just too persuasive with his begging. I told him since he was not going to the VFW to meet all that he was not getting a piece but who could resist those Big Daddy eyes? Not this baby girl!!! Farland was guarding the last piece for him until morning.

Pam made the yummy strawberry puff pastries! They were great but I am still wondering how that salsa tasted! She forgot and left it home. Hummm I wonder if it will keep until the next meet???

Sandy, no need to go North for a Yankee update on your attitude! I was totally being sarcastic in my view of your lady like ways!

Stacey, Y'all did not kick our butts! I recall the score only being won by 5 points and I thank Pam for giving us some great clues to catch up on the last play for us closing in. If Sandy had not ran off from the game, we would have made a comeback and stole your pink tiara! And I am hurt you did not wear your nice matching necklace too!

Dragon left the Saint in charge of all the Wenches! Bless his great big ole heart for being a Saint and getting Stacey, Pam and I all home safely! Can y’all imagine all the fun he had in the truck with us three giggling all the way home? Now Dragon, just when is the party at your house? I want to play on the cannons sitting in front of the house with Smokey! They look like so much fun!

We made the drive safely back to GA yesterday and came home to 2 inches of rain in the gauge so we had some much needed rain to keep my flower garden moist. I hope y’all get some rain soon! The girls were not even disturbed with us at all with our absence the past 4 nights! They helped mommy unpack and fell right back into their normal routine by bed time! Ah, the luxury of wonderful next door neighbors as pet sitters!

I am counting the days until November and the Daisylouu meeting!

Okay, now I know I was officially drunk. I DON'T REMEMBER THE HOWLING PICTURE AT ALL!!!! I remember the others, but not that one. It's a darn shame the blinking lights on my tiara don't show up better. Skeeter, can you email all your pics?? I'd like to have them. I'll send you what I have, plus the ones from Cancun.

You wisely didn't get your camera out until after the Blog Police left the party, so you don't have to worry about getting censored. (Kidding, Sandy, I'm kidding!)

Well, I AM the blog police, along with my editor Alane, so I have to keep things right. :) Now, which one shall I use for my column next week?????

It was so much fun. The only problem with having so much fun is I want to do it more often!

I have a problem with the howling pic too--don't remember that one for some reason--maybe it was the beam, maybe it was because I was having such fun. As for the little old gray haired lady comment--HEy, I told ya the truth, didn't I? LOL
As for everyone thanking us--THANK YOU ALL--we haven't had such fun in a long time. I would like to plan a "little" halloween movie night or something. I know Christmas will be too busy for everyone unless we have something right after Turkey day in November. I would LOVE to do that--just an old fashion get together with everyone exchanging a Christmas tale from their childhood. Yeah, yeah, too many "Waltons" episodes.
Pam was wonderful in our little game--I think if we had had time for round 2--you guys wouldn't have been such "champs".
Next time, the guys are going to have to hang out too. Saint was the last guest standing--and I apologize Mark, for when we all went out and left you inside alone with the babies. Your a real trooper, and I owe you one!
The pecan pie didn't even make it to the fridge Skeeter, and the chocolate puffs were gone too, Pam. I'm amazed that I didn't get ill. And those little strawberry puffs--OH YEAH--those were EXCELLENT.
So now we countdown til November or sooner for the locals. I'm overjoyed that we are able to hang out and have good times together. Thank you all again for coming and for those who didn't, there's always NEXT time.

Gee, I wonder if Pam remembers the howling pictures being taken. I had my share of milky libations but I remember the entire party! I was still going strong but knew it was time to cruise when I saw Pam yawning and I knew she had to be at her grandson’s birthday party the next day! So Brett and Jeremy I was still with ya in spirit after I departed with the crazy's...

I did not think about the Blog Police when taking the picture, in fact I had a plan for her but it foil on me. But there is always the next time.. Tee hee… I was having so much fun I plain forgot all about taking pictures so I only have a few!

I had no idea the Saint was left in the house alone! He loves furry babies and I am sure he was playing with the beast as we gabbed it up about the noisy neighbors on the porch. He never said anything to me about being left alone so I guess it was not a big deal to him. He is soooo easy going that it is sometimes scary! He only had a couple of beers but he enjoyed watching us have a good time throughout the night. He was indeed a great designated driver to the party animals. The least he could do for my being designated driver for him so many times while in Germany! Ha…

Just now getting back on here. And Skeeter No!NO!No! I do not like those photos of me either, they suck too! Well the one of us in the group is ok but the other two are terrible! not as bad as that one Stacey put up but still awful. Now you have to get some good ones of me to make up for that. Either that or put up some bad ones of everyone else too.
Oh and Adrienne, sorry to disapoint you but I am not exzactly Jeremy's type you know,ha.

PAM!!!!!!!! Get over yourself, you hussy!!!! I have a cheezoid grin, no eyes, and a friggin blinking PINK A$$ TIARA on my head and I'm not complaining!!! We were snockered and we were having FUN!!! I don't care who sees it. But, I'm not pure royalty like you are.......

The job is going to make me crazy, I can tell. I'm still feeling out the internet/email thing at work. So, for the time being, I'm not going to be around as much, especially during the day. I won't have the down time that I did before either. I know for sure that I can't access my MSN email account from work, so if you email me during the day, you won't hear back until that night (on a good day). And, I have no cell phone service in my office. Oh the joy.

Gotta go! You crazy pet people keep Dragon in line!!!!! I can just see poor King Feline Evil Demon Devil Cat being CATapulted into the sun!!

Pam, in the group picture, where you are posing so pretty, the rest of us have our mouths wide open while howling like dogs at the full moon! You are your worse critic girl, you are a beautiful person no matter what you may think of your pictures!

Stacey, you stop bashing that beautiful tiara! You know you loved it and the way it shined while blinking against your black hair! It does not look as bad as the Sombrero in the last pictures. Hey, you are on to something here, you need a new head dress for each gathering! You can be the Hat Wench! And hang in there with the new job. You will get the kinks worked out in no time at all.

Oh Adrienne, I had to go back and look at Jeremy’s hand again! How funny, I never noticed that and it does look as though he is being mighty friendly to Pam… Come to think of it, he was trying to get me to sit on his lap (of course I knew it would break his legs so I opt out of that request) at one point during the night too! Hummmm, maybe we better talk to Brett about this… Swish-swish, a wench is stirring the pot again…..

Okay, I will be the one to fess it all up...
There was a lot of petting going on at the Get-together!
We were petting Pearl, Charlie, Lucy and occasionally the demon dog Hines. I say demon dog because if you make eye contact with him, well, he turns into a little devil and at any second, he may bite your head off if you don’t look away….
So don’t you get your drawers in a wad B…. We love ya….

Skeeter must bring gestures again. You'd love that Adrienne. It was a hoot! I can still pictures Skeeter paddling herself. LOL

Well, they did not get the paddling of the canoe hint! So the next best thing in my mind was a paddling of the butt!!! That is indeed a fun game to play and I will bring it along again. I think the beauty of the game is how quickly you must act. Not boring like Charades can be…. Maybe we can try the other game before the brains are mushy then move onto Guesstures....

No worries Adrienne, I wasn't in the least upset. Just setting everyone straight as to where Jeremy's hand was because of the crazy comments. Now if he's had his hands on one of the fellows Brett might have had cause to worry but we know Jeremy nis a loyal and faithful guy so it's all good. Besides when it comes to teasing and ribbing I can be one of the worst in the lot.
