See Y'all at the Ball by Skeeter

Look at Mr. Pepper, my parents Maine Coon cat being all cute as he snoozes in the sunbeam. No sunbeam here in Georgia today. We woke up to some badly needed rain. Only problem is, the Saint and I will soon be driving in it headed to Clarksville this evening for the Fur Ball Bash on Saturday! I am sitting here killing time waiting for him to get home from work so we can hit the road. I have my cat ears and tail all packed and ready to rumble!

We are planning on going to the Ball Room to help out where needed sometime around 12:30 or there about Saturday. We will set up tables, chairs or whatever we can help with. Hope to have a few laughs in the process to get the mood a bit happier for Brett. Maybe a good Hug is all you need. I will be there with open arms….

We are looking forward to meeting some of you which we have often chatted with but never met face to face such as Alice, Amy and any others which show up. It sounds as though the night is going to be filled with entertainment and we are really looking forward to kicking back and enjoying the evening in the name of the furry ones!

Stacey and I are planning a pre-meet at the nearby Blackhorse to get the festivities started. The Saint and I will park our auto at the hotel then walk to and from the Blackhorse. If anyone else is game, stop on by and let’s get the party started! What time Stacey??? 5:30… 6:00….???

See Y’all at the Ball…

Looking forward to meeting you, too, Skeeter!!! And, it's GREAT you plan to show up early to help us set up. Are you SURE you all don't want to just stay in Clarksville permanently? :)

K-9, we DO want to stay in Clarksville permanently but the Saint cannot find a job there. So we will continue to run "home" when we can...

Saint just called from work and is on his way home. I have the truck packed and ready. He will have to have his Weenie (raw hot dog, yuck)with Miss Sheba then we will be on our way! It looks as though we will be hitting Atlanta traffic about 6:30 or so. argggg.. Wish us luck!

Skeeter and all, I am certainly up for a pre-drink at the Blackhorse, but I can't really say what time. Until we get there tomorrow to decorate and set-up, we really don't know what the day will bring for us. God willing, it will go smoothly and we will wrap things up quickly. BUT........ We may just have to play it by ear. I think we all have cell phone numbers, so we may have to communicate later in the day to firm up plans. Will that work???
