Fur under the tree by Skeeter

More cute adorable furry babies under the Christmas tree!

The Saints sis dog Minnie under our Fox hunt (no hunting goes on in this house) themed tree in our sunroom….

And my bro and sis cats Pepper and Patches under my parents tree that I so kindly set up while in TN on my last visit! Are you tired of seeing that tree yet mom? Few more days to go…Ha ha… and I hope you don’t expect me to take it down during this trip since we must depart the day after Christmas. I refuse to dismantle a tree on Christmas Day!

Come on Pet People time is running out to share fur under the tree pictures!
(my favorite so far is Jennifer’s 4 Poms, they are so darn adorable!)

Rox, how cute!!!! If I wasn't so stupid and computer illerate I'd post my baies under our trees. Maybe I'll have someone teach me how to do it one of these days. My friend Debbie who is supposed to get on here soon is a computer whiz and like the Saint when it comes to them so need to get her to shoe me how to do it.
So speaking of, Deb, where are you? Get on here girl!

Skeeter, I love the pictures! I adore when dogs lay "froggy style." Zoe and Scooter lay that way sometimes, but peanut never does. Minnie looks so proud and happy. The cats look they are UP to SOMETHING. They probably have a plan to attack an ornament or two!

I like the "froggy style" (love that term) of dogs lying like that also... And to think, Minnie was scared and barking at us just two days prier to me snapping this picture of her! Wonder if she will remember us when she returns Dec. 27 for us to pet sit her??? She had better because mommy and daddy will be gone before she knows it and we will be her new mommy and daddy for a week!

I have a good one to post for y’all’s (is that a word?) amusement tomorrow. I don’t have time now. I am not baking cookies but busy getting things in order for our departure. Just took a minute to rest the back….

Adrienne, where are my cookies??? We like cookies in this house too! LOL… Get out of the kitchen and play with your furry ones under the tree! You are baking doggie cookies too right??? hummmm, you better be! woof woof..

Good grief! Yes, Skeeter, they look fabulous. But, geeez, when will this Christmas crap be over with?? How many more days do I have to endure all this festive holiday mumbo jumbo?? And, no, I have not been talking to the Saint. And yes, I know, I wore the silly a$$ red suit. But, only for the elves and the little girly girl pet owners in thongs. No holiday spirit was involved. But, there may have been spirits, and I'm not talking about Past, Present, and Future either.

I only bake doggie cookies. You could eat my doggie cookies, but they are a little bland by human standards. I even roll them out and cut them into fire hydrants, dog houses and bones. I have to send a tin of them to my siblings every year. I always send peanut butter, apple, oatmeal. This year I found a tin in the shape of a bone with puppies on the lid.

I will try to take some pictures tomorrw now that most of my baking is done. You all may be seeing a picture of a couple of dead dogs under the tree if Mattie and Oscar don't stay out from under it. Oscar was actually drinking the water out of the base today. ARGGG!

OH! I have to tell you all what happened today...Hunter was in the recliner and trying to balance himself. He decided to stand up on the back and look over the top, AND HE FLIPPED OVER THE CHAIR!! I laughed so hard! He jumped off and ran to his bed. Than after I turned the chair back over, he jumped back up. I made him lay down this time. I can just see him turning it into a game and the chair getting broken. I'd hate to have to explain to the Foreman how his dog broke his chair... the chair that massages, the chair that has a phone in the arm, the chair with the cold storage space, THE CHAIR THAT HE HAD TO HAVE THAT COST ME AN ARM AND A LEG! "The true man's chair". I still have to laugh about it! Oh and Hunter... He likes to flip open the arm and stand on all the buttons. Haven't told him that yet.

Sad news from Dogwood on Madison Street---Lucy has to go to the vet Saturday--she won't stand on her back right paw, and I found blood between her toes last night. Bless her heart,we don't know what is going on, but I'm betting its got something to do with her outside toe nail.
Went to the octor yesterday as I hve no sense of hearing in my left ear--its not strep or anything--but I'm on a three meds now . BUT we shall overcome and we will all have a good time and everything is going to come up roses no matter how big a terd it looks like from here-LOL

I have to share this with you all--A few weeks ago, my father found a little dog about Hines size that someone had abandoned on the road side. It has had an eye put out, and was limping on one leg. Now, anyone who has read blogs on my Dad knows that he is a sort of rough and tumble guy. BUT, he took this little dog off the side of the raod, fed it, and has kept it in his shop at night. So, I was talking to my Mom last night -ya know Mom stuff, do you have a fever, etc--and I asked her about this little dog. She said the little thing is just in love with my father, follows him every where. She said he had come back from the storage building and saw her standing on the side of the road yesterday (they live on state highway 70-LOTS OF CARS)and when he saw her, he RAN out to the road side and chased her back towards the shop and then spanked her for being out by the road.
NOW FOLKS< this is a Christmas Miracle--and the hand of God touching my father and mellowing him. I can't wait til Christmas to see the little girl dog (no name required with my father-DOG will do) I will take a pic and let you guys see her

OOOHHH B, That is a sweet story but that baby really does need a name! Please give her one for your Dad, one that isn't too cutsey or whatever so he will call her by it. Hey how about Tuffy since she was such a tough little lady?

Here is the skinny on our CATS R US day--Jeremy just got off the phone with them, and here is a list and a time to be there, etc
His email reads:
"I just got off the phone with Suzanne an Gerda. They want us to meet at the shelter. She said that the yard sale is staying put till at least after the holidays and if it can possibly be worked out and they guy will let them hold onto the building maybe another yard sale later in January!!

Here is what she said they really need:

Cat Litter
Kitten Chow
Friskies turkey & giblets
Paper towels
Trash bags
an automatic pooper scooper
and several illegal aliens for labor.

We need to get a head count of how many we will have and coordinate to be there right at 8:00am. If we have enough bodies maybe we can get all of the heavy cleaning done by 10am so that when they actually open they won't have to worry about still trying to clean and talk to customers at the same time. If we don't have a lot of people that can show up then they can make extra donations!!! "
So thats the poop--who wants to provide the illegal aliens?

I know Lucy will be fine! I've had many trips to the vet for non-use of legs. LOL. And I know you'll nurse her back to perfection!

Will your dad take the little guy to the vet for a checkup/shots/neuter etc? I HOPE SO. Help them out like a good son! LOL.

B, that is indeed a Christmas Miracle! Do keep us posted…

B, Are things still on with Cats-R-Us Saturday morning? And what time do we need to show up and Where is Cats-R-Us located??? I dont know.....
Hang in there and get you and your baby well…

Dragon ole Sinking Ship! Kiss my Bah-humbug! Looks like you are cruising for a bruising? I think you are just trying to ruffle some feathers so I will bring my whip and give the old Dragon-Claus a spanking Saturday night! Hey, are you going to be wearing the pretty red suit for us wenches???? Will you bring your big bag of toys???

Adrienne, I saw that dog bone tin at the Pet Bakery! Yes folks, they have an entire bakery for animals here in GA. I think Clarksville would do well with one. They are pricey though so Adrienne, continue making your own treats I ma sure they are cheaper! Hey, another one for Dragon Enterprises! Maybe we should get serious with this Dragon Enterprises, that may be the way to get me and the Saint to move to Clarksville! Think our profits would be enough for us to live up there selling the Dragon wares???

Hunter is too funny! I have never seen a "Man Chair" before, well Archie Bunkers in the Smithsonian! When Hunter starts giving himself massages in the chair, you may want to think of getting the video camera out! You may win some money on America's funniest Videos!

You guys kill me--if that dog sees a vet, I will be the one who takes it. Momma says it seems ok--it just favors that leg every once in a while. If Daddy thought the dog was going to be a constant source of expense, she'd be out on the side of the road again. Let's take this one step at a time folks.LOL My father is a slow study when it comes to showing emotions and getting all touchy for animals. He doesn't see them as little people like most of us do. Remember this is the man who offered to shoot Lucy for me when she was peeing blodd we thought she might have to have kidney stones removed.

I have been saying that we need to get the Dragon Enterprised off the ground soon as possible ever since we first got the brain storming going. We could make lots of money for Cats R Us and The Humane Society and the others too! People we have the talent and the know how among us and it would take off like a rocket but we must get started. Hey no more talking about it on here though becase our ideas need to be copy written first. We can talk more via e-mail about our plans, remember how many hits this place gets.
Debbie should be on here soon. The reason she hasn't been yet is she is having trouble getting on like some of you guys did in the beginning. She is doing everything right so who knows what the problem is. You will all love her when she does. You guys who have met her already know that though.

Poor little Debbie having trouble getting on here? The only trouble I have is getting wifey-poo off here. I have trouble getting wifey-poo to have my dinner brought to me in a timely manner. I have trouble with the lunch fairy preparing my lunch before she goes to work. I have trouble keeping my feet warm in the wintertime. And lately I have trouble with my golf swing. But, I had no trouble getting on here. Must be a mere female thing.

Pam, my dear sweet young sister, I love your positive attitude. Dragon Enterprise has a nice little ring to it. I am all for it. Not sure about making money for Cats R Us, but making money for us sure sounds good. Cats R Us can come into the picture after I, I mean we, are financially secured.
