The Shaver Pack - Professional Posers!

The Shaver Pack from left to right: Charlie (left) is now 9 yrs., Nikki (center) is 11 yrs., & Jake (right) will also be 11 yrs. on New Year's Day. There's no way I could let you all share Xmas photos without adding my own to the mix... so I finally decided to learn to contribute to the Pet People Blog. Aren't you all so proud of me????? I'm THRILLED with myself! LOL I tried to add another picture, but it would only let me do one. What am I doing wrong? Guess I'll send the other one in a separate blog. At any rate, while I don't have time to blog very often, I do enjoy reading from time to time. You all are an entertaining bunch! Happy Holiday from our pack to yours!

Hi Amy, It seems Jake is the only one smart enough to keep his butt out of the cold snow. very nice picture. I can imagine Sandy trying to line up the wild bunch for a photo in the snow. It would be mass hysteria, or like the ringling brothers clowns trying to get in the little car.

Amy,
Hey, I know those furrkids!
Now that I think about it, they know me pretty well too. But,you always take them away before I get the complete head to toe sniff test.
A really cheap gift to a dog might be to get stinky and let him smell you all over. What do you think?

I was kind of wondering why Jake is the only one with a sled and a mighty neat looking sled too! Maybe a German sled???
Great picture of the happy looking fur babies! They look much happier then the one sticking out your butt at the Fur Ball in Oct. LOL

That is just the sweetest picture. Can't even imagine trying to get mine to sit together like that. And Sandy's??? I tried desperately to get all 3 of hers with me in a photo, someday I'll post it.

Unfortunately, the sled wasn't big enough for 3 furry butts. And, Jake honestly is the only one that would sit up there. :) You can ask Sandy from our Animal Tracks days... for every article I wrote it seemed Jake was in the picture allowing me to position him however I like... behind the wheel of a car wearing a seatbelt, laying on top of 5 doggy pillows stacked high, etc. He's so much fun & seems to eat it up. The secret to being able to have kids AND dog & cohabitate peacefully? Train your dogs well! I can proudly say I did so with mine from day one (long before the kids came into the picture), and it's been an absolute BLESSING. And, waiting until the dogs were elderly before having kids was an added bonus because they are just content to lay around the house most of the time. They still get to go for rides to grandma & grandpa's house frequently, which they LOVE.

Ginger - I often put them in the bedroom when you (or others come over) because Charlie & Nikki are crotch sniffers in a BIG way. I figured I was doing you a favor. BUT, if you like that kind of thing I can certainly let them spend more time with you. Ha!

Yes, Amy's dogs pose just as good as Jennifers! I've seen many pictures to prove it!

And Dragon, you know my dogs aren't the wild bunch. You've met them and even with lots of people around they are just fine and calm. In fact, I have several pictures of them all together and have posted many of them! But when Daisy was here and down on the floor with them, they were more interested in wiggling all over her to get the kisses she was doling out than sitting pretty for the camera!

Oh, and Amy, for photos: they have to be small in size, like you have to do for Petfinder. If they are too big they won't upload.
