Skeeter's Snow Challenge
I love Skeeter's topic below. I can just picture Minnie getting all excited over seeing something new and enjoyable! Minnie is a rescued dog like so many others we have, and they've been deprived of a normal life--that is, until they find a new and loving home.
Daisy's first dog, Daisy,a poodle was rescued from a despicable backyard breeder. Daisy lived the first two years of her life in a cage, bred over and over. When the woman's home was busted, they found more than 40 dogs I believe, living in terrible conditions. When Daisy was adopted and taken outside in the yard, she didn't even know how to walk normally or run! Can you believe it? She was never out of a cage. When she realized she could move about, she would leap like a little deer!
And Catfish, who was rescued from the RiverWalk, lived in the shelter for a year or two before I brought him home. When he first ventured out in the cat fenced-in yard, he was so funny to watch! He saw moths and bugs and leaped into the air and you could just SEE the amazement on his face!
Nothing brings more joy than taking an unwanted, abused or neglected pet and then giving them love and watching them blossom. And that's why all we do to help shelters in any way is a good, wonderful thing. It all adds up to giving more animals a chance to find a good, loving home.!
Pictures above: Daisy in the snow, Scooter in the front yard before the cats came and took it over, and a picture from Alice, who said about it: "Trouble, Charlie and Scooter watch Max and I outside in the snow. Scooter has the "deer in the headlights" look he is famous for. Charlie looks concerned that maybe a snow monster will eat Max and I. Trouble sees something interesting.."
So, if you have pets and snow pictures, post them if you are signed up to post or send them to me and I'll post them! Scooter loves the cold and snow and will stay outside for hours. He'll even lay down in it and relax!

I'm working on digging out my snow pictures. I have to scan then when I find them.
Sandy, your pictures of snow dog Daisy reminds me of our family doggie Molly with the snow crusted on her whiskers! And the evergreen tree in the background on the second picture reminds me of Bavaria in Germany in the winter with the heavy snow on the trees. What a beautiful sight I will hold in my mind forever!
The three amigos looking out the door look like my two amigos looking out at us when we are in the yard. Great photo Alice! But no snow down here in GA only 80 degree stuff! I do miss the snow this time of year though as it does tend to put me in a better Christmas spirit, if that is possible, I love Christmas decorating. But I am hoping for no snow when traveling to TN for Christmas…
