Wigged out Pets!

You've got to check out this website: http://www.wigglesdogwigs.com/products/

A coworker e-mailed me this link. Just when you thought you heard it all when it comes to crazy pet products, you get surprised.

Okay, it's one thing to dress up your pet for the cold or for a Halloween or other picture, but a wig????? What do you think? Some of them on the Web site are really cute, others not so! What would your dog look like in a wig? Your cat?

I can just imagine what Dragon will have to say about this. Maybe this topic will get him out of his dragon cave and back to his wenches!

Tweety Update: I'll let Stacey tell you all about Tweety (who will be getting a new name since her boss doesn't LIKE Tweety). She left Friday with all her supplies and is feeling out the new digs and new animals, to include the dogs. I don't know if she's ever been around dogs. I think she'll be fine once she knows she won't be attacked. I must admit I shed some tears after she left. I do miss her--she is the sweetest puss ever!Stay tuned!

Well I hope Tweety has a successful transition because I agree about her being the sweetest cat ever (well, maybe second to my Sassy)

A new name? Hmmm......somehow I can't wait to hear what it is.

This picture is a total violation of everything, everything I say, that S.A.F.E. (Save Animals From Embarrassment) stands for. The punishment in this matter clearly dictates “off with their heads” for whoever dressed that poor pitiful dog like that. To dress one’s dog up for their own personal amusement or entertainment is one thing, but to take their picture and splatter it all over the Internet is a crime. It violates every Section, Sub-section, and Paragraph known to S.A.F.E. and to civilized society as a whole. These people must be eliminated from our culture before it is too late.

Sandy, I like my Dragon Cave. It’s not as nice as the Bat Cave, but it will do. No wives allowed, only little girly girls. (The Bat Cave is where the Dynamic Duo, Batman and Robin, keep all their toys.) That is why we men like to disappear into our caves. Toys and girly girls. Need I say more?

Tweety, as Sandy calls the mere female cat, just isn’t working for me. It’s not that I don’t like the name Tweety, but she needs an appropriate name. The name shall fit the cat’s personality. As of now, I’m leaning toward Guinevere. Yes, after wifey-pooh. So far the cat does nothing but lay around and watch me work. Wait, I stand corrected; the cat has dusted off the top of the entertainment center. See, the reprogramming has already begun. It will take time to get her on the road to recovery. If I had lived with Sandy I would have to go through rehab also. It’s a wonder the Boss hasn’t drunk himself to death yet.

Sandy, thanks for all the stuff (supplies). I will have to rent out a storage shed to put it all in. I realize now I have missed an excellent opportunity by not starting up Dragon Enterprises and selling pet stuff (supplies). You alone could made the business work with all the stuff (supplies) you have got Tweety. Thanks for not putting the clock work mouse in Tweety’s stuff (supplies). It made me nervous. Catfish also thanks you for getting rid of that damn pink flowery pet carrier. A greater insult to a cat’s manliness could never be imagined. It is even worse in person that the pictures on the blog.

And, what is so difficult about the concept of just leaving the damn cat alone. From even before she went and got the cat, I informed wifey poo that she would have to be unlike Sandy, and not pester the cat every waking moment. The cat needs to be left alone when she wants to be left alone. Well, that has just gone out the window from day one. I had to draw the line when Wifey poo wanted to go out to the laundry room and watch the cat in the litter box. Stop the madness!

Sandy, I have a question, and I don’t know if this public forum is the proper place to ask it. In amongst Tweety’s belongings, I found a vial of a green leafy substance. I just wondered if it was for the cat, or if it is for me? I really hope it is for me. I don’t know if there is enough to bake a batch of brownies, but maybe I can twist one up.

My dear Daisy, I sit here in my favorite Jets-wear, and I noticed that you posted just before I did. I know that the transition for poor sweet, precious Tweety will be long and arduous. Perhaps it would ease her difficulty if her Auntie Daisy came and stayed with her in this trying time. I know it would mean so much to Tweety, and we all have her best interest at heart. If you were to be here for a particular football game, I have been on E-bay and have found appropriate Jets-wear for properly proportioned females. You and I, with Tweety of course, could sit together, in our Jets-wear, and enjoy the game.

Alice, when I saw that picture, I was thinking Bette Davis eyes! How funny.....

Dragon, glad to see you are out of the dungeon! What did you do so badly that Guinevere kept you locked up so long??? Or what did she do so badly to keep you in your play room for so long??? Inquiring minds want to know….. Anyway, glad to see my Lordship, (sinking-ship) back on here and strong as ever!

Dragon, Dragon, Dragon. You do put a smile on my face every time I read your postings. We wenches would be totally bored without you.

That green leafy substance was cat nip! You could try it, it might work on Dragons. And as to her supplies, I had to make sure that she continues the lifestyle she has been accustomed to. That requires three beds, a cat tree, a flowered pet carrier, a blanket, numerous toys, food and bowls. If I forgot anything, I'll be making another trip.

As to Tweety's new name. Let's all make suggestions. First of all, you said it had to fit her personality. Have you heard her meow yet? She sounds like a little bird and why I named her Tweety. Birdie would also be a good name, as would Dolly, what I originally thought to call her.

But have you forgotten a name that might work the BEST? DAISY DUKES or Daisy for short! A nice girl's name, and after all, she did spend a lot of time in sis Daisy's lap! Would Guinevere go for that?

Or how about Jet, for the Jet's thong? She has a lot of jet black in her fur, so that would be cute!

You could also name her Sandy, for her savior, or Riggins, for the road I found her on, or Shiloh, for the community she was dumped into.

You mentioned Sox: that's more of a boy's name, but how about Pippy, after Pippy longstockings?

Or, since you are a Dragon and love Medieval times, what are good names for Damsels of that time? How about Wenchley? LOL.

Keep us posted!

I think Tweety looks like a Sylvester, but since she is a girl, How about Sylvia?

I'm glad to see someone can be senseable when it comes to that cat.

Alice--I'm thinking "All About Eve" --or maybe, at a stretch, "The Petrified Forrest"--if it were longer hair, I would definitely say "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane"

All my wenches will be happy to know that the cat formerly known as Tweety is doing well in the Dragon Castle. As George W would say, "We're working hard, and we're making progress." The indoctrination continues.....

And, Sandy, names cannot be suggested. I can only be inspired by the cat. She will speak to me, and I will know her true name. Only time will tell.

Of course people can make name suggestions Dragon! One might strike you and as you call it out to Tweety, she might then speak to the mighty Dragon and say, "For God's sake! WhatEVER, give me a name already!"

Be warned about the naming process. When my Mom was here and adopted little Bennie from Inge to take back to Yankeeland, he already had that name. Daisy and the rest of the crew were going to rename him and it went round and round with all kind of names until they realized Bennie was just fine!

So maybe you will come to realize that Tweety is Tweety! The more I thought of it though, I really like Shiloh! That's a good Southern name, has military connotations from the Battle of Shiloh that Guinevere will appreciate as well.
