Lizard thong! Too funny...
Yep, these cute little creatures were "hugging" for about 30 minutes! Snapping pictures did not bother them at all. Guess they were busy...LOL
We saw lots of baby lizards that year!

My Valentine story: I found a note at work yesterday on my desk that said, "Sandy, Tammy wants to see you downstairs."

I said "What? Does someone want to me find a home for yet ANOTHER stray pet?????"

But when I went down, I found roses and candy from The Boss!

We normally don't do ANYTHING for birtdays, anniversaries, etc, so I was shocked and immediately thought: "What does he want? To buy a new old car or something?"

So, in a harried day it was a nice surprise and my coworkers are enjoying the candy and the smell of flowers!

What a wonderful surprise Sandy! Eat some of that chocolate girl!

I read a nice article in our paper yesterday about a woman that trained for several years in Belgium on how to make their chocolate. While living in Europe, we found Belgium chocolates to be divine. So I rushed to the place that I thought this store was located to be wrong! Argg, right road just wrong strip mall. So I was riding through strip mall parking lots like an old lady breaking in front of every store! I finally found the store and the aroma as you walked into the door told me I had done right by getting the Saint (and me Ha) some of these special chocolates! Saint took me to lunch today and we will indulge in the chocolates for dinner tonight! Yum!

After lunch, we walked next door to the Pet Bakery and Daddy picked his girls up some chicken treats for Valentines! They were munching down on them while laying in the sunbeams in the sunroom… Ah, the luxury my babies have!

I cant have flowers because the girls will eat them!

Two things Pam:
1) Don't have too many of Franks Martinis
2.) don't get locked in the bathroom.

Happy VD! I always tell the Foreman that we are not celebrating a greeting card holiday, but he insists on getting me something anyways. This year it was the Hallmark dog from the commercials, The one that beggs for a hug. Too cute!

School up date... First test, Introduction to Animal care 100%...2nd test, Behavior 85%. AGGGGG I missed 2 questions. OH WELL! Did I mention that I HATE HOMEWORK! (sigh)

Well, well, well… I am happy to see that my relatives made it on the Pet People blog: Larry and Lizzy. I am kinda disappointed in Larry for only lasting 30 minutes though. I thought I taught him better than that. Must have been Skeeter and her voyeuristic ways. He gets nervous under pressure. I understand the whole camera thing. I am the same way. When the camera comes out, I tend to get nervous about the recording for posterity bit.

Hmmm….lizard skin thong. I think I would rather have nothing at all. Lizard skin sounds so scratchy. I like soft and silky next to my body. Don’t you agree, Skeeter? Besides, if Daisy or I wore lizard skin thongs or bikinis, we could be wearing my close relatives!! That is rather repulsive, don’t you think???

Sandy, I know the Boss’s secret. The real reason you got the flowers and candy. But, darn it, I am sworn to secrecy, so I can’t tell you why!! I know that will make you absolutely insane, won’t it?? It is really killing me though. But, I can’t tell. In fact, you could boil me in hot oil, and…..oh, wait, I would like that. So, ummm, you could tie me to a whipping post and I would never reveal the secret…. Oh crap, I’d like that too. Hmmm…..maybe you better stick to the administration sanctioned torture of water boarding, and I’d tell. And if I really didn’t know, well, for that, I’d make something up.

Valentine, smalentine….just another corporate America ploy to get your hard earned dollars. Do you really need a date on the calendar to tell your cook, oh I mean your significant other, that you love them?? If so, then you’re pretty bad off, aren’t you??????????? I refuse to bend to the whims of HALLMARK! All I want for Valentine’s Day is a home cooked meal, that I know I won’t get. Sigh……

Pam, I hope you didn’t cave to the Valentine propaganda. I hope that you and my brother in law are going to the Martinis show just because. Not because he felt pressured to do the obligated Valentine thing to humor his wife. Just because you wanted to go. Right??

I guess the Valentine fever must be in the air. I was in the babe mobile on the way home, and a little girly girl told me,at a the red light, what a good looking rear end I had. Then she said, oh yeah, the car looks nice too. Unfortunately, wifey pooh was in her car behind me. So, all I could do was smile and drive on. I can only hope she understood when I mouthed my cell phone number. But, if wifey pooh asks anybody, I was just giving the little girly girl directions. Now, directions to what or where, I will not say.

Well, Adrienne, I think I had that once. I’m pretty sure they have shots for that now.

Well, I don't like chocolate or jewelry and flowers make me sneeze. But a new video card for my 'puter or a bag of salt and vinegar potato chips and I'm in heaven!

Throw in a furkid and I'm with you Alice. Valentines Day passed us by...too busy with new Foster dog. She is a lovable handful and certainly no where near the work and attention Tina has been dealing with....but, you all know how a small change in routine can make a big change in the way things get done....even changes that keep you smiling.

Hope your evening was all you expected and more Pam! Sounds like fun...

B, I wonder if Pam made it out of the bathroom okay...?...

Dragon you may want to reconsider a Lizard thong. I have caught the lizards before and they are soft but then again, we would have to kill them to skin them and I could not have any of my little friends die to make you a thong, although, It probably would not take too many to make you one. LOL...

Adrienne, VD come on, you knew Dragon would pick up on that one didn’t you??? Way to go on test! Just remember... Passing is passing.... Just like in sports, a win is a win no matter how ugly....

I am with you on the potato chips too Alice! Yum, love those Salt and Vinegar chips!

Ginger, we dont usually do too much for Valentines Day either. The Saint says it is a Hallmark thing but we do like to eat out and we also like chocolate so we take advantage of a guilt free day to splurge on both!

We did take it a step further last night though. We shared 2 and half bottles of wine in the living room with several candles and a roaring fire in the fireplace while listening to Elton John and the two of us chatting about all kinds of stuff! We had our sweat pants on and were so comfortable relaxing with no distractions. Was really nice to turn off the TV and just talk for a change.

cj and bruiser are growing like crazy. they both have homes in new england. we need only get them all altered and up north they go. we will all miss them as we are all becoming quite attached, but it is all good.

sorry i haven't been better on updating you all but i am trying not to visit here too often as i remember, this is how i got the pups in the first place! lol just kidding.

Tina, Visit here as often as you like.. Just learn to say NO... LOL
I would take them all in if I could but I know with our current situation, it would not work out so I must say no. Living 6 hours drive away helps in that process too! LOL....

Bless your heart for taking such GREAT care of the pups...

Finally getting back on here. Sorry but I've been exhausted after all the celebrating for Valentine's Day. Not! Didn't have any computer service last Friday then went to see our Grandson get his Orange belt in Karate on Sat. then stayed to babysit them Sat. night. Was in major pain from all that activity the next two days.

Dragon, my sweet brother how you do protest too much. Was it not just last year how you surprised wifey poo in such a romantic way? I do recall how you put a rose on her wind shield and srprised her at work. Is the old memory fading a bit this year? And no, your brother-in-law did NOT force himself to go just for my sake, he wanted to go to the show as much as I did. We were a bit dispointed with the martini's as they were actually straight vodka and not a good one at that. Whew, couldn't handle that so stuck to a glass of wine. We did get to keep the cute martini glasses that lit up though.I also got three romantic cards, a dozen roses and a beautiful Russian egg music box and a heart full of dark chocolate turtle candy. My Fly Boy gives super presents and he does it all on his own! I am a lucky girl!
I do wish everyone a belated valentine's day too.

Skeeter, you and the Saint sitting by the fire chatting and sipping wine? You don't get any more romantic than that, way to go girl!

Tina, so happy to hear the good news about the puppies. The only thing better to hear about them is if they all got adopted together!
